This soil is full of rocks. It contains black basalt with vertical fractures as well as the occasional occurrence of slow cooling irregularly vesicular basalt. The nose shows hints of licorice with black plums and mulberries. On the palate is a unique blend of black and red fruits coming forth in the form of black raspberries mixed with pomegranate and soft cranberry.
